Farewell to Fr Wróbel (Poznań)

On the 7 July 2024 a special celebration was held at St Luke’s parish in Poznań. It was to bid farewell to Fr Krzystof Wróbel who will be leaving the parish after fifteen years for another parish assignment in the diocese. The SDC is greatly indebted for Fr Wróbel who welcomed the SDC to start its mission in Poznań in 2010. His continuous support, both in our work with young people and also in providing accommodation for the members in the parish quarters, is highly appreciated. A Mass of Thanksgiving was held in the parish church followed by a reception for the parishioners. The SDC Members and Candidates presented him with a commemorative card together with an official letter of appreciation from the SDC’s General House. In his message, Fr Wróbel, while thanking the SDC, acknowledged the fact that since he became a parish priest, he would always remember the SDC present and active in the parish. May God bless Fr Wróbe with good health and perseverance as he embarks in his new mission!
