God, my Lord, you are with me and I am with you.
No one else had the power to make me, because only you are so almighty that by uttering a word,
you can create, out of nothing, all you want so only you, I adore (a full bow)
God, my Lord, I’m sure you accept my pleas;
you said you delight in the company of man – so I keep on confiding to you,
though you already know what I am saying to you.
God, my Lord, when I consider how poor I am in merits gained,
I fear for my salvation. I am quite aware of the importance of prayer in the moment of temptation,
yet occasionally I let gratification of the senses prevail.
God, my Lord, here, in silence I wait for your word,
because your word, to me is peace, comfort and light.
